Meet The Team

Kinnersley, PhD

Nelson Kinnersley has a PhD in Biostatistics and 30 years of drug development experience where he has used his statistical expertise in global teams developing novel medicines in a range of therapeutic areas.

Nelson has been part of global teams working directly in the pharmaceutical industry, developing innovative treatments in oncology/hematology, virology, metabolism and inflammatory diseases. Through this work, he has led the Biostatistics aspects for Regulatory Health Authority submissions and interactions around the world (including FDA, EMA, Swissmedic, Australia TGA and others).

He has served on expert review committees providing guidance to teams on strategic drug development. Nelson has also devised and presented multiple training courses on the use and interpretation of medical statistics to experts and non-experts alike.

Julie Kinnersley has a degree in psychology and a post graduate certificate in education (PGCE). Julie has worked intermittently as a teacher since 1991. Career breaks in teaching allowed her to raise a family and gain experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Julie worked for Hoffmann-La Roche for two years as part of a global team, designing change management protocols, marketing new functions and delivering training on change management tools.

After leaving Roche, Julie studied biology and chemistry which resulted in laboratory experience at Rothamsted Research working on a published study to determine screening protocols for synthetic bioinspired mosquito repellents.

Julie uses her experience in education, pharma and science to assimilate technical and scientific concepts into accessible formats, within training, presentations and articles.
